Juntos fomos comprar sua primeira câmera profissional que foi adquirida com muito suor atrás das chapas de hambúrguer. Era uma Canon analógica, começou com a verdadeira fotografia! O cara aprendeu a mexer naqueles inúmeros botões lendo apenas o manual. Voltamos para o Brasil 6 meses depois e vi o nascimento da Revista Bike Action. Ele começou lá como fotógrafo, virou redator, depois editor... Fazia um pouco de tudo. Nos formamos e o Piva se formou homem! Profissional, comanda a revista com maestria. Grande conhecedor das duas rodas e praticante de todas as vertentes do ciclismo, foi chamado pela Red Bull para fotografar eventos da marca. Eu estava junto no dia, fazendo a locução. Foi uma realização! Hoje é um dos principais fotógrafos da marca de bebidas energéticas e para grandes marcas do mundo! Já fotografou de tudo: casamento, aniversário, corrida de aventura, automobilismo, futebol, eventos de cultura e todas as provas de ciclismo pelo mundo, além de outras coisas que não me lembro. A fotografia o levou para todos os continentes do planeta: é uma das pessoas que conheço que mais viaja na vida! Além de tudo isso, o cara ainda arruma tempo pra ser pai do Brunno e do Gabriel, irmão do ATP (outro jornalista dos bons) e marido. "It started in Los Angeles,1999 to learn English. I got a brother I have never had before! Together we went to buy his first professional camera. That was bought with a lot of hard working behind hamburguer plates. It was when the true photography started.

The man learned how to use those many buttons just by reading the manual. We came back to Brazil six months later and we saw the begining of Bike Action Magazine. He started as a photographer, writer, editor...He was a bit of everything. We graduated and Piva turned into a man!
This professional is the main head in a thirteen year old magazine, editing masterfully. Expert in two wheels and practicing all aspects of cycling, Red Bull invited him to photograph some events of bicycle and motorcycle. I was along with him that day doing the voiceover. It was a great accomplishment!

Today he is one of the leading photographers of energy drinks and other big brands around the world. He shoots everything: weddings, birthdays, adventure racings, motor racings, soccer matches, cultural happenings and all cycling events around the world, as well as other things that I wont remember.
Photography took him to all continents on the planet and he's the person I know who travels the most, I'm so proud... Besides, he still has time to be a great daddy for Brunno and Gabriel, ATP's brother (another top journalist) and husband. Always be Tahan, my big brother. "- Cadu Cortez, journalist
